A new image of a suspect has been released after a young boy said he was sexually assaulted in his bedroom by an intruder.
The Metropolitan Police had previously issued a black-and-white image of the man, and the latest picture was taken at an Underground station close to where the alleged attack took place.
Officers were called to the child's home in Hillingdon, northwest London, shortly after midnight on 23 November – following reports that a man had gained entry to a property.
The boy said the man had come into his bedroom and assaulted him, but fled when he said he would phone the police.
There was no sign of forced entry to the property.
The boy, whose identity is being protected, is being supported by specially trained officers.
The suspect is described as white and of slim build, with short hair and a beard. He was wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt.
