Family of murdered father-of-two pay tribute to his infectious smile
The family of a father-of-two stabbed to death in Birmingham have paid tribute to his infectious smile.
Dale Grice, 32, was knifed outside a property in Cooksey Lane, Kingstanding, shortly before 7am on Saturday, September 7.
Emergency services rushed to the area but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement today, his family described him as very popular and loved by everybody he met.
They said: He didnt have a bad bone in his body. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room and now he lights up the sky. His family and friends are left devastated.
He leaves behind his eight and six-year-old daughters, his sisters, his mother, his aunties and uncles and his nan. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
Ravinder Heer, 37, was arrested shortly after Mr Grices death and was charged with murder today.
He will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
West Midlands Police Detective Inspector Caroline Corfield, who is leading the investigation, said: Our sympathies are with Dales family at this desperately sad time.
We have specialist officers supporting them after hearing such terrible news.
