A woman and baby were taken to hospital last night after a liquid was allegedly thrown at them in a Lidl car park.
Police put a cordon in place after the incident in Gipton, Leeds, on Saturday night.
Officers were called at 7.16pm to reports of fighting outside the supermarket with ambulance and fire crews then called to the scene.
According to local reports, plastic sheets were put down at the scene and it was later washed down by a police team.
Police have since tested the liquid and determined that it does not appear to be a corrosive substance.
Initial reports suggest that it may have been anti-freeze.
The woman and baby were taken to hospital as a precaution with minor injuries, according to West Yorkshire Police, which is investigating.
