Yahoo Mail DOWN: Email login not working for UK customers with BT Mail also affected

Yahoo email users are suffering a major outage this afternoon with hundreds left unable to access their email accounts. BT (British Telecom) mail accounts also appear to be impacted by the outage.

The popular email service experienced a rather severe outage last night with problems impacting users for a good few hours.

However, the same issues have started up again today, with independent outage monitor Down Detector registering a peak of almost 900 reports of Yahoo Mail being down, with the majority of those issues coming from users in the US and the UK.

It's not clear what is causing the issues, but Yahoo has responded to these issues on Twitter, telling followers:

"We've received reports that users are seeing temporary access errors when accessing #YahooMail. Our engineers are working on a fix to restore functionality as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Dare you walk the Maga walk of SHAME?

This cheeky Magaluf Facebook page strives to shame the revellers who haven't made it home after a night out. Wearing last night's clothes or passed out in a bin, it doesn't matter. If you don't get back to the hotel, you could end up walking the Maga Walk of ShameFacebook

Understandably angry Yahoo users have taken to Twitter to complain at the lack of service (again).

One Yahoo user said: "yahoo mail down 2nd day in a row…..come on now…..some of us have work to do!"

While another added: "@Yahoo — EMAIL DOWN! What's up with this #YahooMail? ????"

And one posted: "Second day in a row of Yahoo mail being down. Guess I'm not getting work emails today".

BT Yahoo Mail customers also appear to be suffering as well this morning, but there's been no word on when these similar issues will be fixed.
